# SBC Adventures — Phase 2: The Multiverse Strikes Back **13 scenes.** The squad survived the dream. Reality didn't. --- ## 1. IT WASN'T A DREAM The squad is trapped in a mandatory video conference call, desperately trying to look professional for the webcam, while their ENTIRE MULTIVERSE crashes through the office around them. Orangutan nods politely at the laptop while hiding a massive greatsword under his desk, a dragon tail visible through the window. Sloth squints at the webcam with a flintlock under his desk, a pirate ship mast crashing through the ceiling. Tortoise sits perfectly still, a plasma rifle beneath him, Greek marble columns sprouting from the carpet. Chicken grins at the camera with a fire axe under his desk, ghostly ectoplasm dripping from the vents. "No, no technical difficulties on my end! Everything's FINE!" ## 2. The Parking Lot Battle The office nexus spills into the parking lot during lunch break. Orangutan stands on a silver sedan roof swinging a greatsword at a zombie while checking his watch: "Lunch break ends in 7 minutes and I still have to file those TPS reports." Sloth leans out of a car window with a plasma pistol in one hand and a half-eaten sandwich in the other. Tortoise stands behind a flipped picnic table, calmly blocking a pirate cannonball with an energy shield drone. "Per my last email..." Chicken rides a flaming wasteland motorcycle, dual-wielding a cutlass and flintlock, laughing maniacally. The dragon's on the handicap sign. ## 3. The Elevator Boss Fight The most stressful all-hands meeting commute in multiverse history. Orangutan frantically mashes the 4th floor button while clutching his greatsword: "Come ON, I do NOT have time for the undead today!" Sloth squints calmly at the glowing floor directory — dragon, pirate ship, UFO, zombie, Greek temple. "B is for Basement... and also apparently Basement of the Undead." Tortoise deploys a small energy shield to block tentacles reaching through the ceiling hatch. Chicken presses EVERY SINGLE BUTTON AT ONCE. "IF WE STOP AT EVERY FLOOR WE MIGHT FIND SNACKS!!" ## 4. The Coffee Machine Is the Final Boss The battle they've been building toward since Day 1. Orangutan roars at the machine that started it all: "YOU BURNED THE COFFEE AND OPENED THE PORTALS!!" Sloth hangs from the water cooler jug rack, plasma pistol aimed, waiting for the perfect shot at the thermal carafe core. Tortoise blocks a jet of scalding coffee spray with his energy shield. "This is what happens when you don't descale regularly." Chicken charges the machine on a rolling office chair like a steed, cutlass and fire axe raised. The Employee of the Month frame on the wall? IT'S HIS FACE. ## 5. The All-Hands Meeting From the Multiverse They made it to the 4th floor conference room — and it's worse than any dragon. Battle-worn, dripping with coffee coolant, weapons still in hand, they freeze at the sight of THE REGIONAL MANAGER, silhouetted in a perfectly pressed suit, backlit by a projector showing "Q3 TPS Reports and Interdimensional Synergy." The conference table phases between realities: office table, glowing rune roundtable, sci-fi holographic display. Ghostly afterimages occupy the chairs: a dragon, a zombie, a pirate, a Greek god checking his smartphone. "Please take a seat. We're discussing your quarterly performance... and the collapse of spacetime." ## 6. The Commute From Hell They've saved the multiverse multiple times, but NOTHING is worse than rush-hour traffic. Orangutan hunches over the wheel, greatsword between the seats like a carpool buddy. Sloth squints at a GPS showing routes through "Fantasy Realm," "Zombie Zone," and "Deep Space Bypass." "Recalculating... you have arrived at Mordor?" Tortoise reads a newspaper in the back seat while an energy shield blocks a dragon tail swiping past the window. Chicken hangs halfway out the rear window yelling at a pirate ship in the next lane: "YER IN THE CARPOOL LANE, YE SCURVY DOG!" Road signs: "Exit 42: Olympus" / "Toll Booth: Accepts Gold Coins or Credits." ## 7. "We Just Wanted to Watch TV and Sleep" They finally make it home, and their house has become a museum of their own chaos. Suburban ranch with a Greek temple roof. Pirate mast through the garage door. Dragon on the chimney. Zombie lawn gnomes on the grass. "NO VACANCY" flickering above the mailbox. Saloon doors as the front entrance. Sloth: "Is that... our garage? With a pirate mast?" Chicken: "WE HAVE A DRAGON ON THE CHIMNEY!!" The neighbors peek over the fence, terrified. One normal moon and one alien planet in the sky. ## 8. The Couch Is Alive and It Hates Them They were SO CLOSE to sitting down. Orangutan wrestles a couch cushion that has sprouted teeth: "HOW IS IT STRONGER THAN ME?! IT'S POLYESTER BLEND!" Sloth sinks slowly into quicksand upholstery, trying to aim a plasma pistol at a tentacled armrest: "no wait, it's digesting me." Tortoise stands on the glowing holographic coffee table blocking a flying throw pillow that has become a spiky mace. "I just wanted to watch the news." Chicken rides the couch like a bucking bronco, swinging a nerf gun: "YEEEHAW! WHO'S THE FURNITURE NOW?!" The 3D printer is printing MORE throw pillows. ## 9. "Extra Cheese, Hold the Cursed Artifacts" The most relaxed scene in the entire saga — and it's still completely insane. Orangutan holds a wad of cash mixed with gold drachmas and sci-fi credits: "Do you... do you take Visa? Or... uh... colonial scrip?" Sloth squints through a magnifying glass at a slice topped with glowing mushrooms and eyeballs. Tortoise stares deadpan at the receipt: "This says 'one large, half undead, half cosmic, add dragonfire.' That seems... accurate." Chicken is already halfway through his slice: "THIS IS THE BEST PIZZA I'VE EVER HAD!!" The delivery person is a floating crystal alien. "That'll be 42 credits, 12 drachmas, or 3 doubloons." ## 10. "It's 2 AM and Everything Is Slime" The most exhausted, most heroic, most DISGUSTING cleanup scene in cinematic history. Orangutan battles a wave of glowing green ectoplasm with a mop: "I have fought dragons. I have fought aliens. But THIS... this is the real final boss." Sloth squints at a bubbling puddle of purple alien slime, holding a tiny sponge: "According to my analysis... this is... very sticky." Tortoise uses his energy shield as an umbrella against blue plasma goo dripping from the ceiling. "It's in my shell." Chicken slides on his belly through neon-orange pizza grease making everything worse. "I'M HELPING!!" It's 2 AM. They have work in 6 hours. Everything is slime. ## 11. The Fridge Fights Back They just wanted a midnight snack. The multiverse said NO. Orangutan wearily points his greatsword at the fridge, which has sprouted a giant tongue, rows of teeth, and glowing eyes: "I just... wanted... string cheese." Sloth squints sleepily into the fridge holding a tiny jar of pickles, completely missing that the condiment shelf has grown tentacles. Tortoise stands calmly with a plate and fork ready: "I'll have the leftovers. If the fridge doesn't eat me first." Chicken is halfway inside, being slowly pulled in by the crisper drawer: "I CAN SEE THE SNACKS FROM HERE!! DON'T LET GO!!" ## 12. The Most Fortified Slumber Party in History They just wanted to sleep. The bedroom had OTHER PLANS — castle battlements. Orangutan mans the top bunk like a tower, pillow-shield and newspaper-greatsword: "None shall pass... until 6 AM." Sloth keeps watch through a telescope made from a toilet paper roll: "I see... the closet... is still a portal... nothing new..." Tortoise has retreated into his shell on the bottom bunk, reinforced with a medieval portcullis gate, snoring peacefully. Chicken swings from a rope ladder wearing a nightcap, foam pool noodle as lance: "EN GARDE, DREAM MONSTERS!!" The closet door is a swirling portal with zombie hands reaching out. ## 13. Tuesday Morning: The Ultimate Cliffhanger Phase 2 ends in a split-screen masterpiece of exhaustion and terror. Left side: the squad drags themselves out of the merged house, coffee mugs in hand, wrinkled work clothes thrown over pajamas, still covered in slime residue. "Just another Tuesday..." Right side: they pull into the parking lot and freeze. The mundane office building has transformed into a COLOSSAL INTERDIMENSIONAL CITADEL. Thousands of alternate reality versions of themselves stand in perfect army formation, all turning to face them in unison. At the top of the stairs, a silhouetted figure in an impossibly sharp CEO suit, backlit by lightning. The holographic banner reads: **"PHASE 3: CORPORATE MERGER"**
